Month-long trade fair begins in Nilphamari

NILPHAMARI, Sept 04: A month-long trade fair started in the district on Tuesday.

Asaduzzaman Noor, MP, inaugurated the fair at a programme at a field adjacent to the Nilphamari Government High School.

Nilphamari Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) arranged the fair.

NCCI president Maruf Zaman Koel presided over the inaugural programme.

Deputy Commissioner of Nilphamari Hafizur Rahman Chowdhury, Vice President of NCCI Fornul Hoque, Nilphamari Municipality Mayor Dewan Kamal Ahmed and Awami League district Secretary Advocate Momatajul Hoque were present on the occasion, among others.

A good number of stalls of different traditional and necessary items have been set up in the fair to attract people.
