Mother hands over drug addicted son to police

BARGUNA, Nov 13 (BSS): A mother on Wednesday handed over her drug addicted son to the police for taking lawful action against him.

Morjina Begum, a ward councilor of Amtoli Pourashaba under Barguna district, yesterday handed over her drug addicted son Tareq Noman, 30, to police as he smashed furniture and other valuables of the residence.

On Wednesday, addicted Noman demanded Taka 20,000 from his mother for buying drug. When Noman failed to realize the money from his mother he damaged all furniture and other valuables. Later, police arrested Tareq Noman.
