Motorcyclist killed in Pabna road mishap

PABNA, Apr 19: A motorcyclist was killed while two others were injured as a speeding truck rammed a motorbike in Gaspara area of the district headquarter on Saturday night.

The deceased Md. Khokon Hossain, 40 was a manager of a private clinic.

Police and the locals said Khokon along with two others were returning to Pabna town at around 9.30pm on Saturday night by a motorbike. When they reached near Gaspara intersection a truck hit the motorbike leaving Khokon dead on the spot while two others injured.

Officer-in-charge of Pabna Sadar police station Md. Ahsanul Haque confirmed the accident saying police recovered the deadbody from the spot. The truck driver managed to escape from the spot.
