Motorcyclist killed in road accident

A motorcyclist was killed in a road accident at Joygachhi on Boitpur-Rotkhola road in Sadar Upazila of Bagerhat Monday night. The deceased was identified as Ranjit Karmakar (32), son of Kanai Karmakar of Basabati area of the district town. Police said the accident occurred as the Bagerhat-bound motorbike overturned and fell on a roadside ditch while giving side to a bicycle, leaving Ranjit dead on the spot. - UNB
