Munshiganj, Bogura road crashes kill four

Four persons were killed in separate road accidents in Munshiganj and Bogura districts on Tuesday, reports BSS.
In Munshiganj, two people were killed and five others injured as a pickup van overturned on Bangabandhu Expressway in Hasara area under Sreenagar upazila of Munshiganj district on Tuesday.
The deceased were identified as Md Hafez, 45 and Md Shahidul.
Police said that the accident occurred on Tuesday noon when a fish-laden pickup van overturned on the expressway as its driver lost control over the steering, leaving seven people critically injured on the spot.
Locals rescued the injured and took them to Sreenagar Upazila Health Complex where the on-duty doctor declared Hafez and Shahidul dead.
In Bogura, two boys were killed in a road accident on the Bogura second bypass road in Baria of Sabgram area under Sadar upazila of Bogura district on Tuesday.
The deceased were identified as Mahinur Rahman, 13, son of Md Sumon, resident of Bagbari village under Gabtali upazila, and Sitab, 14, son of Uzzal Rahman, resident of Durgahata village of the same upazila.
Police said the accident occurred when they were going to Bogura town from Gabtali upazila riding a motorcycle and collided head-on with a truck coming from the opposite direction.
