Narsingdi road accident kills minor girl

NARSINGDI, Jan 31 (BSS): A minor girl was killed in a road accident in Shibpur upazila of the district on Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Aysha, 07, daughter of Morshed, a resident of Boilab village of the upazila.

Local people said that the accident occurred this noon on the Shibpur-Boilab road when a truck hit the minor girl.

Aysha was taken to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital where the attending doctor declared her dead.

Officer-in-Charge of Shibpur Police Station Md Farid Uddin confirmed the matter.
