RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, Mar 22: The two-day National Robo Tour and Programming contest concluded at the Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) Friday, said a press release. The department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) and IEE student branch of RUET jointly arranged the event with financial help of the American Centre of US Embassy of Dhaka.
The purpose of the contest was to start a small initiative to create a networking and development platform for the engineering students who are interested in robotics and programming. Earlier on Thursday, Fazle Hasan Badsha, lawmaker of Rajshahi-2 (Sadar) constituency inaugurated the programme.
RUET VC Prof. Rafiqul Alam Beg, EEE department dept head Prof Dr. M. Shahiduzzaman, DSW Prof NHM Kamruzzaman, EEE dept head Professor Dr. SM Abdur Razzaque, councillor of IEE RUET students branch Prof Dr. Abdul Gaffar Khan, among others, graced the inaugural session.
