JKKNIU, Mymensingh, May 03: A workshop on 'Grievance and Redress System & GRS Software' was held at Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University (JKKNIU) on Thursday.
The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell of the university organised the event
The Grievance Redress System, a government website, is a national platform on which individuals and communities can submit formal, anonymous complaints about public service providers directly seeking redress.
Prof Dr Soumitra Shekhar, vice chancellor of the university, inaugurated the workshop while Prof Dr Ataur Rahman, treasure of the university, and Dr. Fardous Zaman, secretary of University Grants Commission of Bangladesh, attended it as the special guests.
The VC said the primary objective of the programme is to introduce the activities of 'Grievance and Redress' to public.
He also advised all to read some books on GRS system to know more about it.
Director of Institutional Quality Assurance Cell Prof Dr Md Shahbuddin presided over the event that was conducted by Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman, focal point, GRS and also assistant register (legal) of university while Mohammad Shoaib, assistant secretary (legal) of Bangladesh University Grants Commission, was present as resource person at the event.
