NBBS observes Nazrul\\\'s death anniversary

PABNA, Sept 3: On the occasion of the 38th death anniversary of National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam, "Nazrulke Bhalo Bashi Samity" (NBBS) organised a 7-day discussion programme and book fair which ended on September 2 at the Debottor Kobi Bonde Ali High School premises in Pabna.

Principal Tobarak Hossain was the chief guest at the inaugural session on August 27. Principal Anwar Hossain and NBBS's secretary MD. Habibullah were special guests. NBBS's president professor Raihan Uddin presided over the Nazrul fair and discussion programme that day.

On the concluding day on Tuesday, the discussion featured a keynote paper, "Bidrohi Kobita Rachanar Nobboi Bochhor" (90 years of "Bidrohi"), presented by Professor Nayan Talukdar, a member of the Nazrulke Bhalo Bashi Samiti.

Principal Emdadul Haque was the chief guest on the concluding programme. Principal Iqtekhar Ali, professor Shahadat Hossain, professor Babul Hossain, professor Abdullah Sana, professor Abul Kalam Azad, professor Rafiqul Islam among others, spoke on the occasion.
