Nephew kills uncle in Pabna

PABNA, June 23 (UNB): A man was killed allegedly by his nephew at Chwakkrisnapur village in Bera upazila of the district on Monday.

The victim was identified as Mozai Hossain (40) a resident of the village.

Jasim Uddin Sarker, officer-in-charge of Aminpur police station, said both the uncle and his nephew were going to a disputed land to pluck jackfruits.

At one stage, Mozai Hossain locked an altercation with his nephew Abdul Hakim that turned into a clash.

At this time, Abdul Hakim hit Mozai with a stick, leaving him seriously injured.

He was rushed to the Bera upazila health complex where on-duty doctor declared him dead.

A case was filed in this connection.
