Night watchman hacked to death in B\\\'baria

BRAHMANBARIA, July 17 (UNB): A security guard on duty at night was hacked to death by some miscreants at Amtoli Bazar in a suburb of the district early Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Joynal Miah, 55, son of Lail Miah, a resident of Rajghor village in the upazila.

Local sources said a group of unidentified miscreants attacked Joynal on Wednesday midnight and hacked him with sharp weapons while he was perfuming his duty at Amtoli Bazaar, leaving him dead on the spot. On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
