No-Tobacco Day observed in Gopalganj

GOPALGANJ, May 31: World No-Tobacco Day-2014 was observed with a befitting manner in Gopalganj today.

Health Department, Gopalganj, Alliance for Cooperation and Legal Aid Bangladesh (ACLAB) and Sonar Bangla Manob Kallyan Sangstha, Gopalganj, jointly organised the programme. The theme of this year is "Raise Tobacco Tax, Lower Death and Disease."

Dr. Prasanta Kumar Swarnakar, Civil Surgeon (CS), Acting In-charge, Gopalganj presided over the discussion meeting where Evana Parvin, Additional Police Super, Gopalganj was present as the chief guest.
