Nursery business getting popular in Tangail

TANGAIL, Feb 16: Nursery business is gaining popularity in Tangail as it has become lucrative the recent times. The business is changing the life of young and unemployed people. Different types and sizes of nurseries are spreading over the district. There are now around 196 private nurseries in 12 upazila of the District and three other in government sector.

According to the Agriculture Extension Division, the nursery sector is growing in two ways, one private and another government sector. The private sector is bringing prosperity to both urban and rural people in the district.

DAE Tangail source said, as people find it as a profitable business many people of the district are getting interested in it. If the government took necessary action, such as arranging loan and training for the young and employment people it can help nation get free from unemployment problem.
