RANGPUR, Mar 21 (BSS): The mass media can play the most vital role in accelerating the pace of national development through filing news reports with more objectivity and constructive criticism.
Member of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges Nazmul Hoque Prodhan MP said this while exchanging views with local journalists at Panchagarh Press Club in the sub-Himalayan town on Friday night. Adviser of Panchagarh Press Club Alamgir Jalil Talukder, members Shahidul Islam Shahid, General Secretary Shafiqul Alam, General Secretary of district JSD secretary Abdus Sattar and its leader Emran Al Amin addressed.
Presided over by President of Panchagarh Press Club A. Rahman Mukul, a large number of local journalists working in the print, electronic and online media, political leaders and public representatives participated in the meeting.
