Old man chopped to death in Bhola

BHOLA, Aug 14 (UNB): A sexagenarian man was chopped to death by unknown miscreants at Charnanda village in Sadar upazila early Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Yunus Pandit,60, son of late Majibul Haque of the village.
Ramananda Sarkar, assistant superintendent of police (ASP), said a gang of unknown miscreants attacked Yunus in the area and chopped him indiscriminately with sharp weapons while he was returning home at about 12.30 am, leaving him dead on the spot.
