Old man drowns in trawler capsize

BARISAL, Nov 26 (BSS): An old man drowned when a trawler capsized in the river Meghna at Hijla upazila of the district last night.
The victim was Yusuf, 75, son of Labu Miah of Chargomra area under Aminpur Police Station of Pabna district.
Police and locals said the trawler carrying 74 passengers sank in the river when a launch MV Ema collided with the trawler.
However, local people rescued other passengers, except Yusuf. Later, the body of Yusuf was recovered from the river.
