One dead, 20 hurt in Narail clash

NARAIL, Oct 30 (BSS): One person was killed and 20 others were injured in a clash that erupted between two rival groups at Bashgram village under Sadar upazila of the district this morning.

The deceased was Mohsin Shikder, 35, son of Joynal Shikder of Ramsidhi village of the upazila.

According to police rivalry between Mofijur Rahman Mofi, member a resident of Bashgram village and Nanna Mullah, a resident of Vodrabila village of the upazila was persisting for a long time over establishing supremacy in the area.

As a sequel to enmity both groups equipped with local weapons attacked each other, leaving 21 people injured. The injured were sent to  hospital where Mohsin succumbed to his injuries.
