One dies for wrong treatment

A UNB report says: An elderly woman died reportedly for wrong treatment at a clinic in the town on Monday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Hamida Begum, 70, wife of Razzaq Biswas of Chhanpur village in Sadar upazila.
Police said Hamida was admitted to Jahan Clinic in the town for treatment amid persuasion by its some brokers though she was referred to Mitford Hospital in Dhaka by Magura Sadar Hospital.
After her admission, Mitu, a nurse of the clinic, allegedly injected Hamida a drug without informing the doctor. Hamida died there after a while.
