One held with fire arms in C'nawabganj

CHAPAINAWABGANJ, May 07 (BSS): Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive arrested an alleged arms trader with two foreign pistols, four magazines and eight bullets from Godagari in Rajshahi district on Saturday.

The arrestee is Md Shamim (19), a resident of Pipulbaria Bazar under Sirajganj sadar upazila residing at present at Technogopara Salna under Gazipur sadar upazila.

RAB said on a tip-off, an operation team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp, conducted a raid in Rosundighi Sadhurmore area under Godagari upazila in Rajshahi district around 1:30 pm and arrested Shamim with the arms and ammunition.
