One held with firearm in Pabna

PABNA, Mar 28: Police arrested a criminal with a country-made pistol in his possession, four rounds of bullets and three knives from Jorebangla area in the Pabna district town on Friday night.

The arrested was identified as Siratul Sheikh Ratul, 25, son of Abul Kalam, a resident of Kikripara in the town.

Officer-in-charge of Pabna police station Ahsanul Haque said on secret information at around 11.00pm on Friday a team of police arrested the man with a country-made pistol, four rounds of bullets, one sharp weapon and three knives. A case was filed with police about this incident.
