One killed in C'nawabganj road accident

CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Apr 30 (BSS): A man was killed and two others were injured as a truck hit a locally-made vehicle bhutbhuti at Ranihati on the Chapainawabganj-Sonamasjid road today.
The deceased was identified as Mainul Islam, 35, son of Mahtab Uddin of Biswanathpur village under Shibganj upazila of the district.
The accident occurred when a Shibganj-bound truck hit a bhutbhuti at around 5 am injuring three including its driver Mainul.
They were rushed to the Chapainawabganj sadar hospital where the attending doctor declared Mainul dead.
The other two injured were referred to the Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
