One killed in Magura road accident

MAGURA, Jan 25 (BSS): A man was killed in a road accident at Vaina crossing in the district town this morning.

The victim was identified as Billal Hossain, 40, a tempu driver and son of Basirullah of Baleswarpur village under Sadar upazila.

Police said the accident occurred when a brick-laden Nasimon (locally made vehicle) hit an auto tempu in the area at about 11.30 am, leaving tempu driver Billal critically injured.

Billal was sent to Magura Sadar hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

A case was filed in this connection.
