One killed in road mishap in Magura

MAGURA, Feb 3: One person was killed in road mishap in Magura Friday morning.
The deceased was identified as Debashish Chakraborti (40), son of Chandan Chakraborti of Basepara area of Jessore town.
Md Shamsul Hoque, Officer-in-Charge of Shalikha thana of Magura, said, Dehashish started for Jessore from Dhaka by a bus of Eagle Paribahan. The bus gave a break at Sayghoria area of Shakikha Upazila for Fazr prayers.
Getting down from the bus, Dehashish sat down by the road side to respond to the call of nature. At that time, another bus from Dhaka hit the standing bus from behind, killing Debashish on the spot.
A case was lodged with Shalikha thana in this connection.
The driver along with the bus managed to escape.
