One stabbed to death in Rajshahi

A man was stabbed to death by his rival in Kedormorh area in the city Saturday. The deceased was identified as Abdur Razzaq, 30, son of Mansur Rahman,of the area. Quoting locals, Boalia thana officer-in-charge Ziaur Rahman Zia said Razzaq had enmity with one Saidur Rahman, a resident of the area, for long over his wife’s extramarital affair with Saidur. As sequel to the enmity, they locked into an altercation around 10:30am. At one stage, Saidur stabbed Razzaq indiscriminately and ran away, leaving him critically injured. He was whisked off to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
