Orientation on risks of non-contaminated diseases held

JESSORE, Nov 1:  Speakers at an orientation on risks of non-contaminated diseases told that such diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure, stroke, cancer and so on claims 65.5 per cent deaths among the total deaths across the globe. Changing of some habits can ease the risks.
The orientation was held at Jessore Cantonment High School on Thursday.  Asia Arsenic Network arranged the programme to make the students as well as the teachers conscious about the diseases at the school.
Moshiur Rahman, project manager, Non-Contaminated Diseases project presented the keynote paper in the orientation in presence of Salah Uddin, headmaster, Jessore Cantonment High School, and officials of the project Obaidur Rahman, Poli Ghosh, Azizur Rahman, Rabiul Islam and Sanjoy Hore.
