GAIBANDHA, Aug 8: Speakers at a function here Friday said outsourcing has created new opportunities for the people, particularly the youths of Bangladesh, as they are earning income through online.
Outsourcing in Bangladesh is a growing market where anyone can improve his or her lot. By this time, many people of the country have taken the outsourcing as the alternative source of income and enabled to earn handsome amount of foreign currency, they said.
They came up with the comments while addressing the inaugural ceremony of Sarah Institute of E-Generation, organised by Outsource Experts Ltd at its office at Kadamtala of the town here Friday.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) M. Abdus Samad addressed the function as the chief guest while deputy manager of human resource department Ali Kaisar Babul was the moderator.
The training programmes undertaken by the institute and the overall activities of Outsource Experts Ltd were presented by software engineer Asaduzzaman Sakil through multimedia projector.
In the power point presentation, engineer Sakil said the institute is the sister concern of Outsource Experts Ltd and initiatives had been taken to create skill manpower through providing the trainees with training on different issues like basic English, computer, graphic design, industrial engineering and office etiquette.
After successful completion of the 3-month long training all the 32 trainees of two batches would get opportunities to have access to job with attractive salaries in the Outsource Experts Ltd in a bid to remove their unemployment problem.
DC M. Abdus Samad in his speech said a large number of people in Bangladesh achieved great success in online outsourcing field and they have become self reliant economically so far.
The DC also emphasised on creating more freelancers to earn money from abroad through internet to help turn Bangladesh into a middle income country by 2021 through materialising the dream of building digital Bangladesh declared by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Earlier, director general of the institute Ataur Rahman Suzon welcomed DC M. Abdus Samad in the office with a bouquet of flower.
