Patients seeking service in Jamalpur Hospital on rise

JAMALPUR, Apr 9 (BSS): Civil Surgeon Dr. Mohammad Hafizur Rahman said today number of patients getting health service at Jamalpur General hospital is increasing day by day.

He said patients are coming to hospital for the availability of proper health service, various medical test facilities and medicines.

Civil Surgeon said this while addressing as chief guest at a tri-monthly co-ordination meeting of District Health Service Users Forum (DHSUF) at the conference room of the Administrative building of Jamalpur general hospital.

Chaired by Prof. Abdul Hye Vice-President DHSUF, it was addressed, among others, by Mukhlesur Rahman Likhan, Member Secretary DHSUF, Dr. ASM Sayem, Health Officer, United Nations Children's Fund, Dr. Md. Alamgir Hossain, Field District Officer, United Nations Population Fund, Md. Alauddin Abu Touhid, Associate Project and Finance Officer, United Nations Population Fund.

The participants emphasised on well-knit coordination among doctors and employees of the hospital and the service receivers.  In this connection they also sought cooperation from the members of DHSUF.
