PBS implements power connection in five Gopalganj UZs

GOPALGANJ, July 27: Gopalganj Pally Bidyut Samity (PBS) implemented 3584.721 kilometres (km) of electricity connection line in five upazilas of Gopalganj district until June 2015.

According to Gopalgnaj Pally Bidyut Samity sources, in the year of March 1998 Kiston Business Support Company Limited started the electrification work for the district under PBS. A total of 2,44,872 out of 1,71,557 families are now getting power connection facilities in the district. While talking to Engineer Md. Harun, General Manager, Pally Bidyut Samity, Gopalganj told the FE recently, "We have also constructed 3584.721 kilometres (km) electric line in five upazilas of the district."
