\\\'Pitha Utsab\\\' begins in Panchagarh

RANGPUR, Feb 23 (BSS): A two-day "Pitha Utsab and Basanta Mela-1420" began from today at Panchagarh Mokbular Rahman Government College ground in Panchagarh.

Principal of the college Professor Abdul Khaleque inaugurated the "Pitha Utsab and Basanta Mela" as the chief guest with Vice- principal of the college Delwar Hossain Pradhan in the chair.

Former vice-principal of the college Professor Khamirul Islam Pradhan and Assistant Professor Ehtesamul Huq attended the ceremony as special guests.

The whole college campus turned yellow following celebrations of the Pitha Mela with the participations of many male and female students, youths, girls, adolescents, women and children attired in traditional yellow and red dresses.
