Plying of Intercity trains from Chilahati opens

NILPHAMARI, Jan 28: Long waited plying of intercity trains from Chilahati railway station to the destinations of Dhaka, Khulna and Rajshahi has been opened. Railway Minister Mojibul Hoque opened the new schedule of the intercity trains of broad gauge railway today in an attractive ceremony held at the Chilahati railway station platform.

Presided over by secretary of the Ministry of Railway Monsur Ali Sikdar, the ceremony was attended by Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor as special guest, local MP Aftab Uddin Sirkar, high ranking officials of railway's Rajshahi Division and others.
