JOYPURHAT, May 16 (BSS): Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two persons and recovered Tk 15.7 million fake notes from Rail station area under Akkelpur upazila of the district Tuesday night.
The arrested were identified as Samad Mandol, 50, and M Abdul Kuddus, 35, residents of Mahadevpur upazila in Naogaon district.
On a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a raid in the area and arrested the duo with the fake notes, a RAB official said.
A case was filed with Akkelpur police station in this connection.
