Radish growers hoping for a bumper yield

TANGAIL, Nov 23: Radish growers of 12 upazilas of the district are hopeful of a bumper production of radish due to favourable weather condition high yielding variety of seeds and necessary agri inputs supply.
Shariful Islam, sub-assistant of Department Agriculture Extension Tangail told FE farmers of the district were found more confident in radish farming on more new land due to the cultivation cost of it is less than the other vegetables.
Md Azahar Ali, 35, a farmer of Gala village under sadar upazila informed that he cultivated radish on 3.5 bigha of his land and has got an excellent production of it.
