JOYPURHAT, Jan 28 (BSS): Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKUB), Joypurhat region, has distributed over Taka 400 million as agricultural loan among farmers in the past six months of the current financial year to increase production in different sectors in Joypurhat district.
The bank has distributed around Taka 408.69million as loan among 4,795 farmers to boost agriculture, fisheries and animal resources production through its 15 branches of the district between July and December, bank sources said.
Mozzamel Hoque, general manager of Joypurhat branch, told BSS that Taka 1008.5 million has been earmarked to distribute among the farmers of the district during the 2014-15 fiscal year.
