Rally on \\\'Nirapad Sarak Chai\\\' held in Kalaroa

JHENIDAH, Dec 28: A colourful rally led by Kalaroa Upazila Parishad chairman Firoj Ahmed Swapan in presence of film actor Ilias Kanchan, founder and chairman of Nirapad Sarak Chai Andolan, was held in the the upazila headquarters Friday.  The rally that started from the Upazila gate ended in front of the Thana Bhaban after parading through the main roads of the municipality.

Later, Alhaj Ilias Kanchan inaugurated Kalaroa branch of "Al-Quran Study Circle". Then at a discussion meet Firoj Ahmed was present as chief guest where Mr. Kanchan, general secretary of Kalaroa Public Institute Ad Kamal Reza, president of Kalaroa bazar samity Arafat Hossain, FF Syed Ali, Moulana Aminul Islam Belali, Moffazzel Hossain Manik and general secretary of Kalroa press club KM Anisur Rahman, among others, delivered speeches.  

At the end of the discussion a committee of the Al-Quran Study Circle was formed.

At night a Tafsirul Quran Mahfil was organized by Al-Quran Foundation, Kalaroa branch at local GKMK pilot high school playground. Alhaj Ilias Khanchan spoke there as chief discussant with Alhaj Tazammel Hossain in the chair. Prof Maulana Nurul Amin (Rangpur), Muhaddis Moulana Amirul Islam Belali and Pr Moulana Abdul Bari, among others, addressed the mahfil.

Ilias Kanchan in his speech said, "When we, the human beings, were in Alome Arwah (Ruhani), merely Allah was our near one. However, coming to the earth, we have forgotten Him and father, mother, sister, wife, children and worldly possessions have become dear to us. I have been studying the holy Quran for the last 20 years and discovered many through."

He inspired all the people present in the congregation to study the divine book Al-Quran and lead their lives as directed by it.
