Re-excavation of Pathraj inaugurated in Panchagarh

PANCHAGARH, Mar 29 (BSS): About ten-kilomiter long re-excavation work programme of Pathraj river under Boda upazila was inaugurated here Friday.

Advocate Nurul Islam Sujon, Member of the Parliament, Panchagarh-2, formally inaugurated the programme as the chief guest.

Agriculture Ministry allocated Taka 12 million for the project and Borendro Bohomukhi Unnayan Kortipokkha' will implement the work programme. After inauguration, a discussion meeting was held on the premises of the river.

Advocate Nurul Islam Sujon MP said present government under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina believes in work, not word, he added.
