Road accidents kill three in Gazipur

GAZIPUR, May 24 (BSS): Three persons were killed in separate road accidents in the district.

Joydevpur railway police said an unknown female was killed when a train hit her in the Satkhamair area under Sreepur upazila this morning.

In another accident, a driver Abul Hossain, 45, of a pickup was killed when his vehicle hit with a roadside pillar this morning in front of Bhawal national Park on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway as he lost control over the steering.

Meanwhile, a pedestrian namely Md Robin, 26, died as a truck overturned last night in Tongi area. His body was also sent to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College and Hospital.
