Road accidents kill two in Bhola

BHOLA, Aug 3 (UNB): Two people were killed and 30 others injured in separate road accidents in Lalmohon and Sadar upazilas of the district on Monday.

Local people said a man was killed and 30 people were injured when a bus of 'MM Enterprise' plunged into a pond as one of its wheel got punctured at Banglabazar Ajimuddin area in sadar upazila around 8:30 am.

The deceased was identified as Saiful (35) of Boro Dairy Bazar area. The injured were rushed to sadar hospital.

Khairul Kabir, officer-in-charge of Doulatkhan Police Station confirmed the death of Saiful.

In another incident, a minor boy was killed when a motorbike ran over him at Bedarkari in Lalmohon upazila around 7:30 am on Monday.

The deceased was identified as Siam, son of auto-bike driver Ripon in the area.
