Roundtable on TB control held in Brahmanbaria

BRAHMANBARIA, Feb 18: A daylong roundtable meeting on "Tuberculosis Control and Social participation", jointly organised by Department of Health, Health and Family Planning Ministry, Brahmanbaria Press Club and Brac at the auditorium of Brahmanbaria Press Club in the town here Wednesday.

 The health experts at the function here said, the TB is no more a deadly disease now and it could be cured if the affected patients take medicines properly for six months at a stretch as per the suggestions of the physicians.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Brahmanbaria Dr. Md Mosarof Hossain attended the function and addressed it as the chief guest while Acting Civil Surgeon of Brahmanbaria Dr. Dr. Hasina Akter presided over the function.
