RAJSHAHI, Feb 25: A day-long workshop titled 'Mobile Journalism: The Future of Journalism' a Hands on Training' was held on the Rajshahi University (RU) campus on Monday.
The Department of Mass Communication and Journalism (MCJ) organised the programme in association with the DW Akademie.
British journalists Andi Bargis and Yousuf Omar conducted the workshop, said a press release.
Speakers said, for the excellence of information technology and to survive in the competition, there is no substitute for journalists to become skilled at various platforms.
It is possible to make the profession more enlightened through creative journalism, they said.
The workshop also provided the direction and guidelines to the future journalists.
