RU student suffering from blood cancer seeks help

RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, June 22: Abbas Ali, a final year student of Islamic History & Culture Department of Rajshahi University (RU) appealed to conscientious people of the society for financial help for his treatment of blood cancer, said a press release.

The press release mentioned that Abbas was suffering from cancer over a few months, received treatment at different hospitals for and at present undergoing treatment at the Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH).

The specialist doctors of RMCH suggested sending him to a Chennai hospital in India for better treatment. But his family members are unable to bear about Tk 0.5 million, needed for his treatment abroad.

Under this circumstance, the generous and well-off people of the society were requested to come forward with financial help for the treatment of the university student.
