RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, June 15: Teachers of Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET) formed an hour-long human chain programme on Monday in protest against the newly-proposed national pay-scale.
As part of the pre-scheduled programme of the Federation of Bangladesh Teachers Association, about two hundreds teachers of the different departments participated in the human chain in front of RUET main gate at 10.00am.
In the human chain, the teachers demanded to cancel the selection grade, and reconsiderate the proposed pay scale structure.
