Satkhira’s couple blessed with quadruplets

SATKHIRA, Oct 23 (UNB): Many couples in this overpopulated country long for years to have babies, but remain childless and curse themselves. But, a couple in Sadar upzila has been blessed with four babies at one birth!

Though poor, the couple -- Shariful Islam and Runa Parvin -- is celebrating the birth of the four babies - three sons and one daughter.

Shariful Islam said his wife Runa Parvin was taken to Sadar Hospital on Monday after she went into labour where doctors referred her to Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH).
