Seed, fertiliser distributed in Panchagarh

PANCHAGARH, Jun 28: Agriculture office of Boda upazila Satuday distributed high quality paddy seeds and fertilizer among the marginal farmers at free of cost to boost food production.

Kamol Kumar Shah, director of Department of Agriculture Extension of Rangpur, distributed 4,500 kg's of high quality paddy seeds and 13,500 kg's of chemical fertilizer among the 450 marginal farmers at a function as the chief guest.The distribution ceremony was held at the upazila auditorium with Boda Upazila Agriculture Officer Md, Enamul Huqe in the chair.

The chief guest said the government has taken up a master plan for the development of agriculture sector  for achieving food security.
