A village woman receiving a blanket at the relief distribution programme arranged by the Sembcorp North-West Power Company Limited in Sirajganj Sadar on Tuesday SIRAJGANJ, Dec 19: The Sembcorp North-West Power Company Limited arranged a winter clothes distribution programme in the district on Tuesday.
The event was arranged on the premises of Bangabandhu Setu Pashchim Government Primary School under Sirajganj Sadar, according to a statement.
Head of Global Operations of Sembcorp Utilities Pte. Ltd. Ng Meng Poh, Managing director of Sembcorp North-West Power Company Kh. Nazmul Ahsan and Project Director of North-West Power Generation Company Limited (NWPGCL) Md Harunar Rashid were present on the occasion.
Soydabad union council Chairman Md Nabidul Islam was also present on the occasion.
Sembcorp North-West Power Company Limited is a joint venture of NWPGCL, an enterprise of the Bangladesh Power Development Board) and Sembcorp Utilities Pte. Ltd. a Singapore government-linked company, developing a 414 MW dual fuel (Gas/HSD) IPP in Sirajganj (Sirajganj Unit-4) on BOO basis and started 282 MW simple cycle operation on October 10, 2018, the statement added.
