Slaughtered body of a housewife recovered

BARISAL, Dec 22 (BSS): Police recovered the slaughtered body of a housewife from Chandramohon Bazar area under Sadar upazila of the district today.

The deceased was Saleha Begum, 43, wife of Yunus Matubbar of the same area.

Being informed, a team of police from Saheberhat Bandar thana rushed to the spot and recovered the body from the victim's house and sent it to hospital morgue, said Officer-in-charge of the thana Rejaul Karim.

Miscreants might have killed Saleha early this morning when her husband went to say Fajr prayer, the OC added.

A case was filed in this connection.
