Steps taken to free Begum Rokeya varsity from session jam

RANGPUR, July 6 (BSS): Vice-chancellor (VC) of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) Professor Dr A. K. M. Nurun Nabi has said necessary steps have been taken to make the university free from any session jam very soon.
The academic activities faced serious setback due to closure of the university following various undesired incidents in recent times and the damages caused to academic life of the students would be recouped with assistance of the teachers and students, he said.
"Cancelling summer vacations, we have kept the university open now to continue academic activities," he said adding that the university shall be made completely free from session jam very soon.
The VC, also a population scientist, said this while addressing the fresher's reception and Iftar Mahfil organised by the Department of Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering at the same department on Sunday evening as the chief guest.
Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology and Head of the Department of Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering Dr Md. Tazul Islam presided over the function.
