GAIBANDHA, Dec 04 (BSS): Speakers at a function here on Monday underscored the need for empowering and strengthening the youths to advance the country towards its desired development.
"If we all work together, the youth and teenagers of the society will be aware of their rights and will come forward with positive attitude to build a developed country in future", they also said.
They made these comments while addressing a meeting at the conference room of Gana Unnayan Kendra (GUK), a Gaibandha base non-government organisation located at Nashratpur area under Sadar upazila in the district this noon.
RH Step arranged the function under RHRN-2 project.
Project officer Tousin Ahmed Sohel, administrative officer of Gaibandha project office M. Enamul Haque, accounts and administrative officer Md. Hasan Habib addressed the function, among others. In the opening of the function, an idea about the work of RHSTEP was given to everyone. At this time, many people gave different opinions also.
Later, the participants gave their opinions on how their organisations can strengthen and improve the youth society.
Many of them expressed their willingness to cooperate the youths and adolescents so that they could be aware of their rights and can play an important role to build the country as a developed one in the days to come.
