Student killed in Jessore road accident

JESSORE, Dec 21 (BSS): A student was killed in a road accident at Khajura area on the Jessore-Satkhira road under Sharsha upazila of the district this morning.

The deceased was Raihan Rabbi, 15, a student of class nine of Navaran Akij Collegiate School and son of Jahangir Alam of Harikhali-Jodunathpur village of the upazila.

Police said the accident occurred when a bus hit Rabbi in the area at about 9.15 am as he was going to school riding a motorcycle. He died on the spot. Police seized the bus but its driver and helper fled from the scene.
