Students\\\' council election held in 212 schools

GAIBANDHA, Feb 25 (BSS): Students' council election was held at 212 primary schools of Sadar upazila of the district on Tuesday amid much enthusiasm.
The objective of the council election is to help students flourish their leadership talents from childhood.
District primary education officer AKM Amirul Islam said the students' council works as the voice of the students and it is formed through an electoral process to make them aware about their responsibility.
Students from class 3 to class 5 exercised their right to franchise to elect seven representatives at the beginning of each year to speak about their benefits at students' council meetings, he also said.
