Sub-stipend distributed among degree students

JHENIDAH, Apr 26: Sub-stipend under the financial assistance of the Prime Minister's Education Aid Trust is distributed among degree (pass) students here in six upazilas of Jhenidah on Sunday.

Abdur Rafique, ADC (ICT), Jhenidah, distributed money among the stipend recipient students under Sadar upazila at the Zila Shilpakala Academy simultaneously with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina through video conferencing today.

Md. Julker Nayen, UNO, Sadar, District Secondary Education Officer (DSEO) Md. Amzad Hossain, Zila Muktijoddha Commander Mokbul Hossain, Tahura Khatun, Woman Vice Chairman, Sadar upazila parishad, USEO Sheikh Md. Kamruzzaman, UASEO Hosne-Ara and principals of different degree colleges under Sadar upazila, guardians and journalists, among others, were present here on the occasion. Besides, in the five other upazilas sub-stipend is given among the degree students.

Each of the beneficiary male and female students of the degree colleges in the district received Tk 4,900 as assistance for properly continuing their studies, including buying books and exam fees.         aminul104060@gmail.com
